What People
Say About Us

I have stayed at Joshua house for six weeks and it has changed my life. I believe this has happened because it is a Christian program and I now have God in my life. Before coming to Joshua House, I was living on the streets because of my alcohol and drug use. Everything I’ve tried in the past hasn’t worked until now.

At 29 years old, I met a man on the streets of Northbridge who took me to RAW church, there I heard about the Bridge Inc. program and went to visit the houses in Victoria Park. I have continued in the Bridge Inc program where I receive ongoing healing for anger and anxiety and full restoration. I am now 80% better than I was a year ago, I have started working during the week and on the weekends. My broken family relations are being restored and I am a new man –
Praise God.

I often think about my time in the bridge program, I left there in late 2018 and have had my ups and downs since. I will always remember what you have done for me and the time you put into me. You took me in, clothed, fed and discipled me after I had lived in a foul manner abusing drugs and all sorts then being hospitalized. Thank you for your patience and undeserved love that you gave me and other men and please keep doing it because it does make a difference.

I was a heavy drug user for over 32 years. The program was quite well organised in that we had highly experienced counsellors and teachers of various subjects with some basic psychology thrown in as well. I found a full-time job through one of the other housemates, and I’ve been working ever since. The Bridge helped me grow up.

For as long as I can remember alcohol, drugs, anger, anxiety, and depression were a major part of my life. The structure of the program is what gave me room to grow. The houses felt safe and all the people involved gave me encouragement and purpose. The care that The Bridge Inc and everyone involved has for its residents is second to none. Relationships were repaired with both Felicity and my parents before my very eyes, but most of all my heart being renewed and transformed from the inside out. Thankyou Murray and everyone connected with The Bridge and Without Walls church for giving me this chance it just goes to show that little hinges open big doors.
